Geemarc is a leading manufacturer of assistive listening devices. Their decades of experience helping the hard of hearing gives them an edge on their competitors when designing telecoil-compatible products.
Turn your hearing aid to T, and pair the Geemarc Bluehook to any Bluetooth-enabled device. The earhook is ultra-light to wear, and generates interference-free sound, sending input from the Bluetooth device, direct to your hearing aid. The most popular way to use the Bluehook is to connect to Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. This allows for hands-free calls to be made and received. Clip the Bluehook onto your clothes, so that the built in microphone can pick up your voice, and place the hook over your ear wearing the hearing aid. Because the sound is sent directly to your hearing aids’ telecoil programme, you should be able to hear on the phone regardless of how noisy your surrounds are.
The Geemarc Bluehook is extremely easy to use; once paired with the Bluetooth-enabled device there are only 2 features to operate - on/off and the volume control. You can either increase the volume on your hearing aids, or use the volume control on the Bluehook - which gives an impressive 25dB extra amplification.
The Geemarc Bluehook works off a rechargeable battery, with an LED indicator on the device to warn that the battery is getting low. The Bluehook is geared to be used on the go, 3 different chargers are included; USB, car and mains chargers.
