Geemarc CLA4 Direct Vibration handset White
Geemarc is a leading manufacturer of assistive listening devices with decades of experience designing products to help the hard of hearing.
What Is It?
The CLA4 is a telephone handset enabled for transmitting sound via bone conduction.
How Does It Work?
If you have a conductive hearing loss, you can place the CLA4 handset on your temple or in front of and slightly below your ear or behind your ear to see which position works best for you. By placing the CLA4 handset at one of these strategic places, sound vibrations can travel from the pulsator, via bone conduction, direct to the cochlea in the inner ear.
If you don’t have hearing loss, you can use your handset normally and put the receiver on your ear.
On compatible Geemarc phones, simply disconnect the standard handset then replace it with the CLA4.
Important note: this is compatible with the following Geemarc phones only:
Amplipower 50; Amplipower 40; CL100; CL200+; CL400; CL600
